Description

A close matched set of 12 glazed ceramic fireplace or wall tiles including four two-tile friezes (two slightly different colour schemes but essentially the same) and four single spacer tiles with a simpler design. Made around 1900 probably. Lots of leaves and swags and so on. Condition is pretty good structurally, except one spacer tile which has been glued (see pics). Cosmetically there are various dings and marks but nothing too terrible and as expected with the age. The designs on the friezes don't line up perfectly but this is the way with the partially hand made process. Dimensions: 15cm x 15cm x 1cm
